In 2024, Pivot conducted an in-depth assessment of the inner wall stability of Gold Lion Mining Company’s tailings dam. This project aimed to evaluate the structural integrity of the dam’s inner wall following modifications to the dam’s configuration and material composition.
Using geotechnical testing and numerical modeling, we analyzed the impact of these changes on the dam’s overall stability. The final report, delivered in April 2024, included risk assessment findings and engineering recommendations to enhance the dam’s resilience against potential failures.
