In October 2024, Pivot successfully conducted a comprehensive LiDAR and drone survey for Gold Lion Mining Company to support topographic mapping and environmental monitoring. The project covered an extensive mine area and its surrounding environment, utilizing high-resolution LiDAR technology to generate detailed elevation models and topographical data. The survey provided crucial insights for mine planning, infrastructure development, and environmental impact assessments. Deliverables included point cloud data, Digital Surface Models (DSM), contour lines, and geometric feature extraction, all in geospatial formats compatible with GIS applications. The high-accuracy data collected enabled the client to enhance decision-making for sustainable mining operations.
In April 2024, Pivot conducted a high-resolution digital elevation modeling (DEM) survey of Marampa Mines Limited’s operational area and its surrounding environs.
Details: Audit survey of run-of-mine (ROM) and product stockpiles, and the audit of the company’s survey processes and procedures. PIVOT employed three advanced methods of survey data capture for the volumetric survey audit.
In December 2023, Pivot undertook an extensive stability analysis of Marampa Mines Limited’s tailings storage facility. The project aimed to assess the structural integrity of the dam under different environmental and operational conditions.
In October 2024, Pivot successfully conducted a comprehensive LiDAR and drone survey for Gold Lion Mining Company to support topographic mapping and environmental monitoring.
In 2024, Pivot conducted an in-depth assessment of the inner wall stability of Gold Lion Mining Company’s tailings dam. This project aimed to evaluate the structural integrity of the dam’s inner wall following modifications to the dam’s configuration and material composition.
In a regulatory compliance effort, Pivot partnered with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to assess the structural integrity and management practices of a tailings storage facility. Conducted between 2023 and April 2024, this project involved a thorough geotechnical review, safety inspections, and an environmental impact evaluation.
Pivot provided expert geotechnical investigation services for a construction project managed by Osman Jalloh Legal (OJP) in 2024. The project involved subsurface soil analysis, foundation stability assessments, and material strength testing.
Details: Conducted geotechnical site Investigation including Borehole drilling and trial pit excavation followed by comprehensive laboratory testing.
