Details: Audit survey of run-of-mine (ROM) and product stockpiles, and the audit of the company’s survey processes and procedures. PIVOT employed three advanced methods of survey data capture for the volumetric survey audit.

Two of these methods will entail the use of a highly accurate LiDAR-equipped survey-grade unmanned aerial vehicle (the DJI Matrice 350 drone), and one involving an advanced laser scanner (REIGL VZ-400). Both the LiDAR drone and laser scanner approaches will be supported by a set of geodetic-grade differential GNSS devices and a total station.

Deliverables included:

• A comprehensive audit report of the survey processes at SRL
• Volumetric data of the stockpiles cross-referenced and checked against SRL survey estimates.
